WoW The Burning Crusade Beta

Sunday, November 19, 2006

I opened my gmailbox the other day and whaddyaknow... I received mail from Blizzard. Now I know that's not extraodinary but it made me quite happy... it contained a beta key for Burning Crusade! I rubbed my eyes and it was still there. After some doubt I decided to install it (I could as well have made over a hundred Euro's by selling it, do I really want to know up front what we'll get when TBC goes live? Maybe I do, after all, the beta two years ago got me playing WoW... meanwhile we're two years further and I am still playing...). Gosh, it takes time to download and install it! After 36 hours I'm still waiting for it to be installed properly (I'm currently at my fourth update)... Will it be worth it? I hope to know in just a couple of hours (so much for sleep again).

Oh something else... my beautiful phone got stolen last Monday, right in front of me. I turned around to look for something, heard the chimes of my phonestrap, turned around and gone. I have a fairly good idea of who did it. I even asked politely if I could have my phone back, to no avail. It took me over two years to find myself a mobile phone that suited my wishes, I finally decided on one... and I got two enjoy it for only two months. Gah it's so unfair. I can't get myself a new one for another ten months. The saddest thing is all the pictures I had on it, and text messages I kept for over two years. That's all gone now. I was so happy with my Samsung SGH-E870, and now she is no longer. Meh.
